LSG is Hiring a Bakery Associate Near Coraopolis, PA

LSG Sky Chefs with over 75 years of Catering history is hiring immediately for Full-Time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. We are the world’s leading provider of end-to–end airline products and services with a fast growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service.
Bakery Associates work in a fast paced environment through out 4 stages: staging bakery racks, staging pastries for production, decorating pastries and order picking. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys an active position and has a team player mentality.
Principal Responsibilities – Bakery Worker:
Staging pastries, decorating- glazing/sprinkling/filling
Picking/packing pastries
Candidates must:
Able to communicate in English
Candidates must be able to lift up to 25lbs
Candidates must be able to bend, stoop, reach- this is an active position
Benefits available after 30 days of employment include but not limited to 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance, and employer paid Safety Shoes
Bakery Associates - $16.25 - Must be able to work any day of the week
Our shifts do not rotate but candidates must be open to change shifts during seniority based shift bids. Shift bids can change your days off up to twice per year.
All Employees are eligible for weekly pay, free lunches, free uniforms and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days of employment that includes 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance.
Eligible candidates must:
- Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
- Be able to stand for the duration of the shift
- Be able to work in a cold room (cold gear provided after probationary period)
- Be able to push, pull, lift, bend and squat with a minimum of 30lbs
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
Additional eligibility requirements and details:
- This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days ($12.75 weekly)
- Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays
- Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
- Must be able to clear a background and drug screen process
